Games & Learning: Didactically supported use of digital games in the classroom

Important input and process variables as well as (learning) outcomes of digital, game-based learning were recorded in 13 classroom projects. It turns out that computer games are an effective didactic instrument, however, teachers first need to integrate it into the classroom in an effective way. The selection and duration of the game as well as the transfer from the digital to real world proved to be especially relevant for the results.
